Grandma’s ninetieth

Yesterday was my grandma’s ninetieth birthday. My angel aunt flew Grandma out and arranged a surprise party for her with all of her grandchildren in the area (there were grandma, one of her kids, five grandkids, three grandsons-in-law, one date and two great-grandchildren there).

cake--yum!
The delicious cake—no, that’s not 90 candles. Also pictured: said angel aunt, one of four women named Rebecca in the room (the others were me, my daughter and my cousin’s date, Becky)

A wonderful night—many thanks to Aunt Janie for throwing a wonderful party!

Aw I so wish I could’ve been there! Looks like Grandma had a good time. The picture of her and Rebecca is really sweet.

Nothing could have made the evening better than my missing sisters, naturally!

Wow, 4 generations of women in the same room. That’s an accomplishment! Your grandma looks like she’s in really great health! … and I have to echo the previous comment about how cute Rebecca looks with her great grandma. That is a BEAUTIFUL dress for her, btw.

Thanks, Elisa. The dress was a gift from Aunt Janie, too :) .
