But the joy is much much greater. I try to show my kids every day, many times, I love them. By sitting with them curled up on the couch, sharing a book. By making cookies with them and almost getting sick on the dough. By praying with them and for them every day and night. It’s tough because mothering can be very hard at times. I was thinking of going in to share info. about my profession - a full time (crazy, exhausted and underpaid) mom. It's my chosen 'job' at this moment and I can't think of any better way to show how much I value this position (although I think I need a raise...ha ha) but I'm not sure how well that will go over with the teacher....I'm still thinking about it.
