V is for vacuum

And not just because Hayden likes to do it. (Woot—less work for me!)

I’ve got just five days left for the A to Z blog challenge—and about 18,000 things to get done in the next two weeks. My mom went home today and I’m drained on all levels.

So, for a quick discussion: what’s your least favorite household chore?

It’s a super hard choice, but (aside from cleaning Rebecca’s little potty!) I’ll have to go with . . . . folding the laundry. I don’t hate it (they’re clean!), but I just cannot seem to do it!

Mopping the floor is my least favorite. As much as I hate cleaning around the base of the toilet, it doesn’t take that long. Mopping on the other hand requires an investment of time with no kid interruptions that seems impossible before bedtime and after bedtime, I rarely want to commit the time that is finally mine to mopping the floor.

Cleaning the tub/shower is my least favorite chore. I put it off and put it off until it gets unbearably icky (I know. So gross). It usually only takes about half an hour to actually do it, but for some reason I just hate it and continually shove it down my to-do list.
